Seminar on "Action Research - a form of self-improvement of professional practice of teachers"

On April 17, 2025, the Faculty of Arts at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University hosted a seminar on the topic: «Action Research - A Form of Self-Improvement in Teaching Practice». The seminar was conducted by the Leader of the UNESCO Chair`s Center for Pedagogical Innovations and Action Research, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Research Professor A.E.Berikhanova and the Center`s Leading Researcher G.Kh.Sarsenbayeva.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, K.A.Baykutov, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and International Relations, M.S.Nurke, Vice Dean for Educational Work, A.T.Kozhagulov, as well as members of the faculty`s academic teaching staff.

The seminar was organized in a professional dialogue format, highlighting the need for inquiry, action, and change on the part of professors and lecturers. It was emphasized that genuine, practice-oriented research aimed at improving students` learning quality is essential. The participants expressed great interest and support for the idea of implementing innovations such as Action Research into practice.
