Scientific and educational event «Chemical Spring»

On April 18, 2025 in accordance with the program of the XVII Republican Subject Olympiad, a scientific and educational event «Chemical Spring» was organized and held with 2nd-year students studying in the specialty 6B05301-Chemistry. The organizer is Zhanar Zhaxibayeva, a lecturer at the Chemistry Department. The event was attended by participants of the Republican Olympiad and team leaders, the Dean of the Faculty, deputy deans for academic Affairs, Science and International Cooperation and educational work, the head of the Department of Chemistry, teachers and students.

The scientific and educational event «Air Chemistry» within the framework of the «Chemical Spring» became a real journey into the world of aerial chemistry. The participants went on an exciting «chemical flight» as passengers, with flight attendants and pilots acting as guides.

The chemical pilots showed interesting chemical experiments on the topics of «Thunderstorm», «Chemical rainbow», «Dry ice» and «Liquid nitrogen». Chemical demonstrations were shown on the interactive whiteboard. The Chemical Lotto game was played for the audience and valuable prizes were awarded to the winners.

Stage productions were staged dedicated to the life and works of the great scientists Marie Sklodowska-Curie and Pierre Curie, Fritz Haber. The club of funny and resourceful chemists showed episodes from fascinating moments of student life, making the audience smile. Gentle, beautiful songs and graceful dances for the teachers gave the audience a wonderful atmospheric mood. The event turned into a real science show. The audience applauded the organizers gratefully.
