Foundation students from China went on an educational excursion to the State Central Museum

Learners from the People`s Republic of China, currently enrolled in the Russian-language track of the language preparation program at the Foundation Faculty of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, visited the Central State Museum in Almaty. The second group of learners took part in this educational excursion, organized under the theme "Traditions and Customs, National Clothing, Household Items, and Utensils."

The purpose of the event was to deepen the learners` understanding of the historical and cultural heritage of the Kazakh people, expand their worldview through exposure to national values, and provide them with a practical connection to real-life cultural phenomena.

During the excursion, the learners were introduced to samples of national clothing, traditional utensils, and household and ethnographic items. They showed a keen interest in the customs, traditions, and lifestyle of the Kazakh people.

The excursion was organized by Russian language instructor Zhanar Togumbetova, who personally guided the learners through the museum exhibits.

Such educational events not only help improve the language proficiency of international learners, but also foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of Kazakhstan`s rich historical and cultural heritage.
