Rector of Abai University met with Deputy Minister of Education of South Korea

On April 28, 2025, Bolat Tlep, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, discussed with the Deputy Minister of Education of South Korea, Oh Seok-hwan, issues of further integration of Kazakhstan into the global educational space in Almaty.

The meeting was organized as part of an official visit, which included a visit to the educational center at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, participation in the event "Education Exhibition in Korea - Kazakhstan", a round table with rectors of leading universities in Almaty and a meeting with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This meeting was one of the important steps aimed at strengthening partnership in the field of education and science between Kazakhstan and Korea. The parties discussed the possibilities of developing joint work on academic mobility, dual degree programs and research projects.
