Meeting of representatives of KazNPU named after Abai with representatives of the University of Poitiers

On April 28, 2025, an official meeting was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with the delegation from the University of Poitiers (France).

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss further directions for bilateral cooperation in education and science. Representatives from Abai University, including Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Banu Narbekova, Vice Rector for Strategy and Internationalization Aigul Iskakova, Director of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute Ainur Sabitova, Director of the Department of International Cooperation Bayan Sapargalieva, and Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology Galiya Abaeva, participated in the event.

During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed the issues of academic mobility for students, master`s, and doctoral candidates, as well as the development of mechanisms for implementing joint scientific internships. Special attention was given to planning joint research projects in key areas such as ecology, biology, chemistry, and sustainable development. The perspectives of cooperation in the development of theatrical arts and support for inclusive education initiatives were also considered.

Both sides expressed mutual interest in strengthening their partnership, emphasizing the importance of expanding academic exchanges, joint research, and educational initiatives aimed at training highly qualified specialists and developing the international scientific community.
