"The Commander of the World of Melody" Literary and Musical Concert Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Nurgisa Tlendiyev

On April 24, 2025, a literary and musical evening concert titled "The Commander of the World of Melody" was held in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of prominent Kazakh composer, conductor, and People`s Artist of Kazakhstan Nurgisa Tlendiyev.

The main purpose of the event was to widely promote the artistic legacy of the composer, who made an invaluable contribution to the nation`s spiritual culture, and to inspire the younger generation through the celebration of the golden heritage of Kazakh music.

During the event songs and kuy (instrumental pieces) by Nurgisa Tlendiyev were performed, students, scholars, poets, and writers presented literary compositions and shared memories about the composer. Special guest speakers included Sarybaiuly Shatyrkha and Samat Tugelbaiuly.

This event became a heartfelt tribute to the eternal artistic legacy of a maestro whose music continues to enrich Kazakhstan`s cultural landscape.
