Abai University Athletes to Compete in the XIII Summer Universiade

From May 8 to June 16, 2025, the XIII Summer Universiade will take place in Turkistan. A total of 230 representatives from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, including 195 student-athletes and coaches, will participate in this major sporting event. The university`s athletes will compete in all 18 sports disciplines, showcasing their skills and determination.

This year, teams from 71 universities across the country are expected to take part, with 800 medals and 104 trophies up for grabs.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Board and Rector of the University, Bolat Tilep, wished the participants success and ceremoniously presented the university flag to a student who is a two-time karate champion.

It is worth mentioning that Abai University has consistently ranked among the top five universities in the history of the Universiade.
