Expansion of international cooperation: signing a contract with Fergana State University

Within the framework of development of international cooperation at the Faculty of Philology of Abai University a meeting with representatives of Fergana State University (Republic of Uzbekistan) was held.

During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between the faculties of philology of the two universities, aimed at strengthening academic and scientific ties.

The side of Fergana State University was represented by: Akbarov U.H., Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor; Karimova N.M., PhD; Doronina I.N., Senior Lecturer; Nuritdinov Z.Sh., Lecturer.

The guests met with the Dean of the Faculty of Philology Tanzharikova A.V., with the Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature Abisheva S.D. and with the lecturers of the Department.

Within the framework of the visit, Associate Professor U.H. Akbarov also gave a lecture for 2nd year students on the discipline “Foreign Literature”.

This visit was an important step in the development of inter-university dialogue and joint educational initiatives.
