Republican Subject Olympiad: Abai University Student Wins 2nd Place

From April 29 to 30, 2025, the Republican Subject Olympiad for the educational program "6B01703 - Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages (English)" was held at the Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages. The Olympiad brought together 55 students from 18 higher education institutions across the country.

Based on the results of the internal university Olympiad held from April 14 to 17, 2025, seven students from the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology at Abai KazNPU qualified to participate in the republican stage. They demonstrated outstanding performance.

As a result of the republican Olympiad, 4th-year student Damira Suleimenova won 2nd place.

The students were trained by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Dana Shayakhmetova.

The Olympiad was organized by the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Serik Ivatov, and Senior Lecturer Asem Muslimova.
