08.05.2025 The Psychological Support Service conducted psychological training sessions for schoolchildren On May 8, 2025, at the invitation of the General Education School No. 196. Psychologists Said Kosbay and Asel Zhusupbekova led the sessions, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev. The trainings targeted students from grades 9-11 under the theme "Intellect, Courage, and Heart as One."
The aim was to help students realize the importance of balancing intellect, strength of spirit, and emotional sensitivity, teach them to set clear goals, develop ways to overcome internal barriers, and strengthen trust and mutual understanding among students. To facilitate acquaintance among students, create a trusting atmosphere, and promote creativity and empathy, an exercise called "Greetings of the World`s Nations" was conducted. The main exercises included "My Resources," "Guessing Game," and "Knowledge Ladder," aimed at helping students recognize their internal and external resources, enhancing vocabulary, developing associative thinking, and fostering a mindful approach to learning. As a concluding relaxation activity, the "Icicle" exercise was performed to release bodily tension, enhance stress resilience, and promote emotional self-regulation.
At the end of the training, students shared their positive impressions, asked questions of interest, and received comprehensive answers. Over 50 students from grades 9-11 participated in the training.
