Vice-Rector of Abai University Delivered a Report at Xinjiang Pedagogical University (China)

On May 13, 2025, at Xinjiang Pedagogical University (China), as part of a seminar on international educational cooperation within the "Belt and Road" initiative, a Memorandum of Understanding and agreements were signed between the universities.

During the plenary session of the seminar, Banu Narbekova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, delivered a report titled "Higher Pedagogical Education in Kazakhstan: Trends and Challenges."

In her speech, Banu Narbekova highlighted key trends and current issues in the field of higher education in Kazakhstan, as well as strategies for international cooperation. Special attention was given to strengthening global partnerships, enhancing academic mobility for faculty and students, and developing dual degree program pathways through the coordination of curricula.

The seminar discussed the opportunities and challenges of improving the quality of higher education within the "Belt and Road" initiative, regional cooperation issues, and resource consolidation.

On behalf of the rectors of Xinjiang Pedagogical University and the Education University of Hong Kong, Banu Narbekova was awarded a letter of appreciation.
