Meeting with Representatives of Lehigh University (USA) at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University

On May 20, 2025, a meeting was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with representatives of Lehigh University (USA). The delegation was led by Mr. Khanjan Rashmikant Mehta, Director of the Department of Creative Inquiry. Students from the American university also took part in the visit.

From the Abai University side, the meeting was attended by Iskakova Aigul Toleutaevna, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization; Kaimuldinova Kulyash Duisenbaevna, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography; Sapargalieva Bayan Oralkhanovna, Director of the Department of International Cooperation; and Kudabayev Yerkebulan Amanbekovich, Head of the Legal Department.

During the meeting, the parties held a detailed discussion of the legal aspects related to the preparation of a bilateral cooperation agreement between the two universities. They also agreed to schedule a follow-up meeting focused on academic cooperation with the participation of the relevant faculty dean.

This visit marked an important step toward strengthening international partnership and academic exchange between Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and Lehigh University.
