PhD Students of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Completed an International Scientific Internship at Altai State University

From April 21 to May 21, 2025, doctoral students of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University participated in an international scientific internship at Altai State University (Barnaul, Russian Federation) under the educational program 8D01416 - "Art Education, Graphics and Design."

The academic supervisor of the internship was Professor Larisa Nechvyadovich, Doctor of Art History and Acting Director of the Institute of Humanities of Altai State University.

The internship was organized within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Arts of Abai University and the Institute of Humanities of AltSU. Its main goal was to deepen the scientific and methodological competence of doctoral students, promote the exchange of experience in the field of art education, and test certain aspects of their dissertation research in a foreign academic environment.

During the internship, the PhD students:
• got acquainted with Russian approaches to art education,
• participated in scientific seminars, workshops, and round tables,
• held individual consultations with faculty and professors of AltSU,
• conducted open classes and presented interim results of their research.

As a result of the internship, scientific reports were prepared, articles were drafted for peer-reviewed journals, and academic ties between the partner universities were strengthened.

The internship of Abai University`s doctoral students at Altai State University marked an important step in enhancing international academic cooperation, promoting mobility, and improving the quality of doctoral training in the field of art education in Central Asia.
