Republican seminar-meeting "Language strategy in science: problems and ways to solve them"

On May 22, 2025, Astana International University hosted a republican seminar-meeting on "Language Strategy in Science: problems and solutions", organized by the Committee for Language Policy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Language International Society, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Astana International University.

The event was aimed at expanding the scope of the state language in the scientific field, as well as improving administrative and organizational processes that ensure the writing of scientific articles, dissertations, scientific and technical projects and document management in the state language.

The seminar was attended by senior officials of higher education institutions, research institutes and centers, representatives of the Committees of Science, Postgraduate Education, quality assurance in the field of science and higher education, as well as University Associations.

Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chairman of the Almaty city branch of the NGO International Society for the Kazakh Language, and Yertay Sultan, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, participated in the seminar from the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai. They shared their important thoughts and suggestions.

The event was moderated by Chairman of the Language Policy Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Tileshov.
