KazNPU team won karate prizes at the XII Summer Universiades

From May 22 to May 27, 2025, the XII Summer Universiade was held in the city of Turkestan, where the KazNPU team performed successfully in the sport of karate.

The men`s team took 1st place in the overall team competition. 1st year students of the specialty "Physical culture and Sports" Alikhan Kadyrgali (in the weight category of 84 kg) and Sanjar Ayanuli (in the weight category of +84 kg) won gold medals.

Aida Sagindykova, a 2nd-year student of the same specialty (+73 kg), and Nurai Sabitkyzy, a 2nd-year student (73 kg), took 3rd place and received bronze medals.

Ayim Moldazhan, a 1st year student at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology (55 kg), also took 3rd place and received a bronze medal.

1st year student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography Aisana Yuri (in the 50 kg weight category) won the 3rd place and a bronze medal.
