10.06.2025 II International Forum on the topic: «Modern technologies for the diagnosis and development of children`s abilities: experience, problems and prospects» On June 3-4, 2025, Astana hosted the II International Forum on: «Modern technologies for the diagnosis and development of children`s abilities: experience, problems and prospects». The Forum was organized by the «El Umiti» Corporate Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The II International Forum has become an important platform for the exchange of experience and strengthening international cooperation in the field of psychology of abilities. Scientists and practitioners from Italy, Slovenia, Great Britain and the USA, Uzbekistan, as well as leading domestic researchers participated in its work.
The International Forum was attended by the teaching staff of the Department of Special Pedagogy of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai: Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Special Pedagogy Akbota Autayeva; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Aigul Baitursynova; and first-year doctoral student of the educational program «Special Pedagogy» Kamila Tolendieva.
Within the framework of the forum, the speaker was Akbota Autayeva with the topic «Actual problems of personnel training for the implementation of inclusive education». The report highlighted the key issues faced by universities in training specialists for an inclusive educational environment. Special attention was paid to the issues of updating educational programs, an interdisciplinary approach, and the formation of future special educators with stable professional attitudes and practical competencies necessary for effective support of children with special educational needs. The presentation aroused great interest among the forum participants and became the subject of active discussion.
Kamila Tolendieva, a 1st-year doctoral student, conducted a masterclass on the topic «Fulcrum: resources for a psychologist working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).» As part of the master class, Kamila Tolendieva presented effective diagnostic and correction methods, as well as demonstrated practical tools and resources that contribute to the professional growth of specialists and improve the quality of their work. The participants noted the relevance of the issues raised and the practical significance of the presented material.
