Successful Defense of Doctoral Dissertations at the Department of Russian Language and Literature

In the 2024-2025 academic year, four candidates at the Department of Russian Language and Literature successfully defended their PhD dissertations and were awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the decision of the dissertation committee. The candidates are: Li Duo, an international student from China, Timur Merkebayev, Elena Shmakova, and Madina Moldagali.

The dissertations covered a broad range of academic fields, including literary studies, linguistics, and methodology of teaching Russian language and literature.

Among the candidates is Madina Moldagali, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Russian Language and Literature and recipient of the "Zhas Galym" research grant for young scholars.
