Bolat Tlep, Rector of Abai University, got acquainted with the work of the scientific library of the Moscow State Technical University

From June 12 to 15, 2025, the Chairman of the Board and Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Bolat Tilep, made an official visit to the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi.

During the visit, the rector held a meeting with the university leadership to discuss strengthening academic cooperation between the two higher education institutions. In particular, they thoroughly examined the implementation of joint scientific projects and research, the development of common educational programs, the advancement of research activities, as well as the implementation of educational initiatives for students.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to focus on the following priority areas for joint implementation of educational programs: pedagogy, natural sciences, history, Turkology, and Oriental studies; joint development and implementation of core and supplementary courses (minors, micro-courses); introduction of joint professional development programs for teachers; organization of faculty exchange programs to share teaching experience; training of teachers according to professional development programs developed by Abai KAZNPU and registered in the Ministry of Education`s registry; organization of professional internships; arrangement of academic mobility programs for students and master`s students, including semester exchanges; conducting scientific internships for master`s and doctoral students.

Regarding research activities, they discussed: conducting joint scientific projects and participation in international grants; preparation of joint scientific publications and participation in editorial boards of journals and collections; organizing scientific events such as conferences, forums, and round tables.

The meeting also addressed educational initiatives for students aimed at enhancing their professional and academic potential: organizing joint summer and winter schools; developing mentorship programs for senior students and graduates; organizing study and familiarization internships for outstanding students at the host university`s facilities, including museums, laboratories, research centers, and institutions in the fields of tourism and cultural heritage.

Additionally, the rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University visited the scientific library of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, familiarized himself with its work, and engaged in professional experience exchange with colleagues.
