Representatives of Abai University participated in the ESCAS 2025 International Conference in Uzbekistan

From June 12 to 15, 2025, the ESCAS 2025 Regional Conference "Moving Central Eurasian Studies ever further: Orthodox vs Unorthodox approaches" took place in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand (Republic of Uzbekistan).

As part of the university project "Opportunities and Prospects for the Application of VR/AR Technologies in the Transformation of History Education in the 21st Century" (Order No. 05-04/250 dated 03.04.2025), the project supervisor - Senior Research Fellow, PhD in History, Professor-Researcher of the Department of New and Modern History of Kazakhstan named after Academician T.S. Sadykov, Dalaeva T.T. - and Research Fellow, 1st-year PhD student of the educational program "8D01605 - New Social History of Kazakhstan", Idrissova A.M., presented their papers at the panel "Visual Language for Knowledge Production (Methods and Practices)".

Participation in the conference contributed to the expansion of academic collaboration and provided an opportunity to share interim results of the ongoing research.
