Psychological Support Service specialists took part in a seminar on «Life is the best that there is»

On June 17, 2025, the Sana Intellectual School Public Foundation, with the support of the Almaty City Youth Policy Department, organized a seminar for psychologists working with youth in higher educational institutions and colleges in Almaty on the topics of «Suicide prevention», «Addiction prevention», «Prevention of STIs» and «Sex education».

The purpose of the seminar is to comprehensively inform psychologists about risk factors that negatively affect the mental and physical health of young people, provide theoretical and practical knowledge on preventive measures, as well as support them in their work aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people and preventing risk using effective methods and means.

The seminar consisted of a theoretical and a practical part. In the practical part, group trainings, exercises and new techniques were conducted. The seminar was conducted by Saltanat Nurpeyisova, an analytical psychologist. At the end of the seminar, the participants were given a «Workshop for psychologists working with children and youth» related to the prevention of suicide and bad habits.

The seminar was attended by psychologists from the Psychological Support Service Saida Kosbay and Asel Zhusupekova.
