Creative workshop within the framework of the extended meeting of the educational and methodological Association of pedagogical universities


On June 20, 2025, an expanded meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association in the field of «Pedagogical Sciences» was held on the basis of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai on the topic: «New guidelines for the development of teacher education: inclusion, quality, national context».

 

As part of the event, the Department of Special Pedagogy organized a creative workshop aimed at showcasing innovative approaches and facilitating the exchange of experience in the field of special and inclusive education.

 

The purpose of the event is to promote the professional growth of teachers, discuss topical issues of the quality of training in the field of special education, taking into account the national context, as well as the development of an inclusive educational environment.

 

The format of the event is a discussion platform with elements of theoretical and practical interaction.

 

Moderator of the event: Akbota Autayeva is the head of the Department of Special Pedagogy of KazNPU named after Abai, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor.

 

The program of the event included the following areas:

- Opening of a creative workshop (Akbota Autayeva);

- The importance of inclusive education (speaker: Zeynep Bekbaeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor);

- Classification of persons with special educational needs (speaker: Akmaral Rsaldinova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor);

- Implementation of the inclusive education model (speaker: Akkumis Kemeshova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer);

- Practical block: strategic directions of work with students with special educational needs (speakers: Alisher Yrymtai, Akmaral Rsaldinova, Asia Darmenova).

 

In the practical part, the participants were offered tasks aimed at analyzing the features of pedagogical support for various categories of students with disabilities. Effective interaction models reflecting key approaches to the implementation of inclusive practices in higher education were also presented. The discussion took place in the format of an open professional discussion.

 

Following the meeting, the directions of further cooperation between educational organizations were identified, proposals for improving the training of specialists in the field of special and inclusive pedagogy were considered, and priorities for the implementation of effective methods in the educational process were outlined.
