Master Class: "Psychological and Pedagogical Support for Early Childhood Development"

 

On June 20, 2025, as part of the extended meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association in the field of "Pedagogical Sciences" on the theme "New Guidelines for the Development of Pedagogical Education: Inclusion, Quality, National Context," a master class titled "Psychological and Pedagogical Support for Early Childhood Development" was held at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.


The event was conducted by faculty members of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy - Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Acting Associate Professor Assem Bulshekbayeva, and Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer Aizhan Auezova.


The goal of the master class was to enhance the professional competence of educators in the field of early childhood support and to create a platform for sharing effective methods and practices.


During the event, participants:
analyzed the scientific foundations of early support through interactive TEDx-style presentations and short video materials;
explored children`s developmental features based on specific case studies and developed professional solutions for providing psychological and pedagogical support;
created and presented original developmental games aimed at fostering key early childhood skills as part of the creative section titled "One Skill - One Game";
strengthened theoretical knowledge and improved teamwork skills through the movement-based game "QIMYL BATTLE" and reflective quizzes on the Kahoot platform;
shared their opinions and suggestions through the reflective activity "Tree of Opinions".


The master class brought together university faculty members, PhD doctoral students, and young researchers who actively engaged in professional dialogue on current issues in preschool education. Participants deepened their understanding of diagnostic methods, the importance of individualized support, and the role of play and creative techniques in realizing a child`s potential.


At the conclusion of the event, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants and presented them with pedagogical literature and methodological materials.


The master class was highly praised as a meaningful and relevant event that contributed to the professional development of specialists and gave a new impetus to the educational process.
