Collaboration with Fergana State University within the Framework of Academic Mobility
From June 5 to 18, 2025, at the invitation of Fergana State University, Ulbosyn Kiyakbayeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, and Alma Aitpaeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, took part in the International Conference titled "Topical Issues of Preschool Education: Solutions and Prospects for Development." As part of the conference, Ulbosyn Kiyakbayeva delivered a presentation and shared professional experience. In addition, during the visit, open lectures and practical classes were held for students majoring in Preschool Education at Fergana State University (Republic of Uzbekistan).
Purpose of work in foreign higher educational institutions:To ensure the exchange of experience among faculty members in accordance with the provisions of the Bologna Declaration; to promote academic mobility of students and teachers; to develop joint educational programs; to implement comparable program levels in the development of students` professional competencies;and to contribute to the creation of a Central Asian higher education space.
During the lectures and practical sessions, the professors provided in-depth theoretical and methodological content on the planned topics.
Students were given assignments to deepen their theoretical preparation, as well as to enhance understanding of terminology and rules in line with the course objectives.
The sessions also aimed at improving students` analytical skills, developing critical thinking, fostering intellectual, moral, and spiritual growth, and enhancing public speaking skills when working with preschool-aged children.
As a result of the experience exchange, students and faculty of Fergana State University expressed positive feedback, and the Uzbek students expressed a strong interest in continuing their studies at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in the future within the framework of academic mobility programs.
