Graduation Ceremony Begins at KazNPU

On June 25, 2025, as part of the planned anniversary celebrations, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University launched its graduation ceremony for the class of 2025.

Today, graduates of the Faculty of History and Law bid farewell to their alma mater, taking an important step into a new chapter of life. The solemn event opened with a heartfelt congratulatory speech by Abai University`s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Banu Narbekova. The ceremony was attended by university leadership, faculty members, graduates, parents, and honored guests.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, 350 students successfully completed their studies at the Faculty of History and Law and were awarded bachelor`s degrees. This marks a significant milestone in their professional and personal journeys.

During the ceremony, a special video greeting from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, was shown, offering warm wishes to the graduates. In addition, several outstanding students-recognized for academic excellence, civic engagement, and contributions to student self-governance-were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the university rector. Each graduate also received a commemorative gift from the rector: a collection of Abai Kunanbayev`s Words of Edification.

The emotional event continued with a photo session and concluded with a festive concert program dedicated to the graduates.

It is worth noting that this year, 4,239 future specialists are graduating from Abai University. In the coming days, graduation ceremonies will also be held for the Faculties of Physical Education and Basic Military Training, Arts, Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Natural Sciences and Geography, Pedagogy and Psychology, Philology, and the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute.
