Alumni Reunite at Abai KazNPU After 35 Years

On June 28, 2025, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University hosted a reunion for alumni who graduated 30-35 years ago.

The event was opened by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Banu Narbekova, who conveyed congratulations from the Chairman of the Board - Rector Bolat Tilep to the graduates gathered in honor of the 30-35-year anniversary of their graduation.

A special guest of the evening was Gulnar Omirbekkyzy, Head of the Department for Quality Assurance in Education of Almaty city, who read a congratulatory letter from the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gani Beisembayev.

One of the alumni, public figure, renowned local historian, honored mother, and master of the spoken word, Zauresh Demeukolova, delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude to the university`s faculty.

The Head of the Alumni Association, Bolatbek Nurbatyrov, officially welcomed all attendees as members of the association and presented them with commemorative certificates and lapel pins.

During the event, the alumni were introduced to the mission of the Abai Endowment Fund corporate foundation and expressed their willingness to support and contribute to its initiatives.
