The Faculty of Arts Held Its First PhD Dissertation Defense

On June 28, 2025, the first-ever PhD dissertation defense at the Faculty of Arts took place at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. Two dissertations were successfully defended for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD):

Berikbol Rakhat - "Pedagogical conditions of forming ethno-artistic culture of future specialists by means of graphic art works";

Alzhanov Gadilbek - "Formation of Students` Spiritual Worldview in Higher Art Education through the Means of Ethnodesign".

Both dissertations addressed pressing scientific issues in the field of art education and were defended at a high academic level.

Leading scholars from Kazakhstan and abroad, as well as scientific supervisors and official reviewers, took part in the defense.
