KazNPU and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry Discussed Education and International Cooperation

On July 2, 2025, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University hosted an official meeting with a delegation from the French Chamber of Commerceand Industry.

The delegation from the French side was led by the Executive Director of the Chamber, Mr. Steven Bostroem. The main goal of the meeting was to develop mutual cooperation and expand international relations in the fields of education and science.

From the university side, the meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board - Rector Bolat Tilep, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Banu Narbekova, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization Aigul Iskakova, Vice-Rector for Finance and Infrastructure Development Kamilya Amenova, Director of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute Ainur Sabitova, Director of the Department of International Cooperation Bayan Sapargalieva, and Head of the International Projects and Cooperation Unit Aigerim Tavyldieva.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues in higher education, student career guidance, and prospects for future cooperation between KazNPU and French companies. Particular attention was paid to introducing KazNPU students to leading French trade and industry organizations, experience exchange, internships, and the implementation of joint projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed its willingness to establish a partnership with Abai University, and the university, in turn, confirmed its openness to international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
