Philology Faculty Students Receive Diplomas

On July 4, 2025, a solemn graduation ceremony was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University for the graduates of the Faculty of Philology.

The event was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at Abai University Ertai Sultan, Dean of the Faculty of Philology Alua Tanzharykova, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs Gulnaz Nuptkeeva, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs Bekbolat Baykaraev, department heads, faculty members, honored guests, graduates, and their families.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, a total of 1,146 young specialists successfully completed their studies at the Faculty of Philology, including 1,087 bachelor`s and 59 master`s graduates. Notably, 296 graduates completed their studies with honors and received red diplomas.

During the ceremony, a congratulatory video message was shown from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek and the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Abai University Bolat Tilep. In their messages, they extended heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes for success and prosperity to the young professionals.

The event also included the presentation of letters of appreciation from the rector to outstanding students and those active in community life. Additionally, each graduate received a commemorative gift - a copy of Abai Kunanbayev`s Words of Edification, presented on behalf of the rector.

It is worth noting that the diploma awarding ceremony will continue tomorrow, July 5.
