Students of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University Earned Qualification for the Asian Championship

From July 11 to 13, 2025, the International KAZAKHSTAN OPEN karate tournament was held in Astana at a high level.

The competition featured top athletes from Kazakhstan and abroad.

Second-year students of the Physical Education and Sports program at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Alikhan Kadyrgali and Sanjar Ayanuly, performed successfully and won prize-winning places.

Alikhan Kadyrgali took first place, while Sanjar Ayanuly secured second place.

Both athletes earned qualification for the Asian Championship, demonstrating their high level of athletic skill.

This achievement enhances the prestige of our university in the field of sports and demonstrates its competitiveness on the international stage. Moreover, it is the result of the students` hard work and the professional training provided by their coaches.
