Application Period for State Educational Grants at Abai University Successfully Completed

From July 13 to 20, 2025, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University successfully conducted its application campaign for participation in the competition for state educational grants. This year, approximately 4,000 applicants submitted their documents to the university. This figure once again confirms Abai University`s reputation as one of the country`s leading pedagogical institutions.

The document submission process was organized at a high level - through both offline and virtual admission offices of the university, as well as via the eGov.kz electronic government portal. All applicants were provided with consultation support, detailed information on educational programs, electronic queue management, and technical assistance. The process was fully digitized, ensuring maximum convenience for applicants and their families.

According to data from the National Testing Center, Abai University secured a strong position in the national ranking: 7,857 applicants selected the university as their first choice, 6,168 as their second, 5,558 as their third and 3,917 as their fourth choice.

In addition, the university received applications from: 368 holders of the "Altyn Belgi" gold medal, 536 graduates with honors diplomas or certificates, 8 winners of academic olympiads and patriotic competitions, as well as a significant number of school and college graduates, youth from socially vulnerable groups, and ethnic Kazakhs who returned from abroad.

The top three most in-demand educational programs among applicants were: B018 - Foreign Language Teacher Training (1,517 applications), B055 - Mathematics and Statistics (1,194 applications), B053 - Chemistry (1,173 applications).

Abai University showcased a high level of organization, transparency in its processes, and a strong focus on the needs of applicants.

The list of state educational grant recipients will be published by August 5, 2025, in accordance with the schedule approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
