The IV Republican Open Showdown Tournament Concludes at KazNPU

From July 21 to 23, 2025, the IV Republican Open Showdown Tournament was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The event was organized by the Department of Social and Youth Policy and the Youth Affairs Office.

Teams from various regions of the country participated in the tournament, demonstrating exciting and intense matches. As a result:

• 1st place - Shymkent team,
• 2nd place - Kostanay team,
• 3rd place - Almaty team.

The winners were awarded by Maksat Zhakau, Vice-Rector for Social Development at Abai KazNPU, Marat Kozhakhmetov, President of the Kazakhstan Showdown Federation, and Aidar Yerkinuly, Head of the Department of Culture and Language Development of the Medeu District in Almaty.

The tournament was held to promote inclusive sports, encourage a healthy lifestyle among youth, and create opportunities for people with special needs to actively participate in society.
