Meeting with Representatives of Ankara Social Sciences University Held at KazNPU

On August 7, 2025, a formal meeting was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with a delegation from Ankara Social Sciences University.

The guests included the Rector of Ankara Social Sciences University, Musa Kazım Arıcan, Head of the Rector`s Office Serdar Çalımlı, Director of the Eurasian Research Institute of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University Suat Beylur, and researcher Erkinbek Turgynov.

From Abai University, the meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization Aigul Iskakova, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Ertay Sultan, Head of the Department of International Projects and Cooperation Aigerim Tavildiyeva, and Head of the Academic Mobility Department Yesim Merey.

During the meeting, both universities presented video materials showcasing their scientific and innovative capacities as well as their international partnerships. Each side emphasized their commitment to education and science, highlighted achievements as research universities, shared ongoing scientific projects, and discussed international collaborations.

The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation in the fields of education and science, implementing joint research projects, and promoting academic mobility and exchange of experience.

Aigul Iskakova noted that scientific development is a key focus in KazNPU`s strategic plan, while Ertay Sultan emphasized that Ankara University could become an active participant in international projects currently being implemented under the university rector`s initiative.

At the end of the meeting, both sides exchanged commemorative gifts. Abai University presented the guests with a special souvenir depicting the great thinker Abai, while the Turkish delegation gifted the university with their scientific and educational publications.
