August music teachers` cjyference with the participation of university frofessors  – 2025

On August 29, 2025, the next August conference among music teachers of secondary education organizations in Almaty was held at Gymnasium No. 130 named after I.Zhansugurov. This year, the conference was held under the title `Education prospects: an honest citizen, a professional`. This is due to the fact that the President of the country emphasized the high mission of the teacher, declaring this year the Year of Working Professions and noted that great changes are being observed in the education system for the better.

The conference began with presentations by Gulsim Chaizadanova, a methodologist at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Urban Education and New Technologies, and Zheniskul Makhanbetova, President of the Association of Music Teachers in Almaty.

The work program of the music teachers section of secondary schools included reports from subject teachers and methodologists dealing with practical issues and problems of teaching music lessons. The issues of improving the quality of education, the implementation and dissemination of best practices, and the use of an interactive platform were discussed.

University professors were invited to implement the project `Reading School` in one of the sections of the conference.

For example, Laura Kakimova, Acting Professor of the Department of Music Education and Choreography at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, made a report on `Music as a means of figurative concretization and generalization in the music lesson`. She raised the problem of developing musical abilities of schoolchildren through the use of levels of mental development according to B. Bloom`s taxonomy, which aroused great interest among the conference listeners.

Acting professor of the Kazakh National Women`s Pedagogical University, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Moldr Urazalieva introduced the audience to the innovative music and computer technology `Soft way to Mozart`.

At the end of the conference, the `Ukili Dombra` orchestra and choir from the music teachers of Almaty performed. Speakers of the conference, leaders, diploma winners and activists of school music education were awarded with certificates of honor and letters of appreciation.
