ABAI NATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN THE 5TH INTERNATIONAL ENDOWMENT FORUM

On October 2, 2025, the 5th International Endowment Forum themed `Endowments and Sustainable Development: Investments for the Future` was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana.

Representatives from the USA, Russia, China, Turkey, Poland, and Kazakhstan, more than 40 universities across the country, investment companies, business communities, and the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the forum.

Bolatbek Nurbatyrov, Head of the Alumni Association Center at Abai KazNPU, attended the forum and gathered important information about endowment funds.

Gulnaz Kobenova, Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of endowment funds for the future of education and science. Foreign speakers and representatives of leading Kazakhstani universities also shared their experiences.

During the event, a resolution was adopted on the establishment of the Endowment Association and the development of the targeted capital institution in Kazakhstan. The importance of increasing trust in endowment funds and opening new opportunities for education and science was also highlighted.
