A CEREMONY DEDICATED TO INDEPENDENCE

DAY WAS HELD

Today, at Abai University, a solemn ceremony took place dedicated to the most significant and sacred holiday in the history of the country – the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, celebrated on December 16. The event, titled "Independence – The Motto of the Country," became an important gathering for the university community, with deep spiritual and educational significance.

Opening the ceremony, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University, Bolat Tleper, congratulated the attendees on Independence Day, which symbolizes the nation is desire for freedom, unity, and a creative spirit, and particularly emphasized the significance of this day in the history of our country. In his speech, he also presented a report on the activities of the country is first higher educational institution for the year 2025, thoroughly reviewing the university is main areas of work, achievements in academia, educational potential, scientific research and innovations, international cooperation, and social support.

– "The past year has been successful and productive for our university. Our main goals are to provide quality education, strengthen scientific potential, and transform the university into a competitive institution of international level. These achievements and successes were described as the result of the unity, hard work, and determination of the university staff. At the end of his speech, the rector awarded university employees who made significant contributions to the development of the institution.

The solemn event continued with a concert program. Talented students from the university is "A–Bluse band" performed instrumental compositions with natural vocals that captivated the audience. The student theater "Қағанат" presented a poetic composition titled "Song of Freedom," conveying the essence of independence through beautiful words. The dance group "Гәкку" performed the dance "Ruh – Turan" while the young akyn, a member of the Center for Young Poets named after Orazaly Dosbosynov, Aytugan Zhetebaev, performed the song "Tribute to Independence". The student trio "AuenTribe" performed the composition "Hello, native land!" A wonderful performance by Tangat Akhnur, accompanied by dancers, concluded the concert program and won the hearts of the audience. The concert program was completed by pop singer Baglan Abdyraimov, who wrapped up the solemn event on a high note.
