REPRESENTATIVES OF KANGWON NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ARRIVED

Today, Abai University hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Kangwon National University of South Korea. The sides agreed to expand the conditions for training students within the framework of the academic mobility program, as well as the horizons for the development of bilateral cooperation. In the future, issues of implementing a joint dual-degree educational program for undergraduate and graduate students were discussed.

The head of the Department of the Center for international cooperation of Kangwon National University, Ben Yun Che, and the head of Kannin Wonj University, an SAN, expressed interest in developing partnership relations with the leading Pedagogical University of Kazakhstan. He noted that within the framework of academic mobility, students are ready to exchange, improve the quality of training, and implement a joint educational program.

It should be recalled that in February this year the universities signed a memorandum of cooperation. As a result, the academic mobility program has been implemented since September. At the same time, students of Abay University have the opportunity to improve their knowledge in South Korea.

Following the talks, the parties expressed their readiness to further develop the agreement and outlined concrete steps to strengthen cooperation between Abai Kaznpu and Kangwon National University.
