«Car-Free Day» Campaign at Abai University

Dear staff, faculty members, and students of Abai University!

Every year on September 22, the world observes World Car Free Day. The purpose of this campaign is to demonstrate commitment to the principles of sustainable development, support the international World Car Free Day initiative, promote environmentally friendly modes of

transportation, and raise awareness about the ecological benefits of public transport as well as the positive effects of walking and cycling on health.

In this regard, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University will hold the World Car Free Day campaign on Monday, September 22.

The organizers invite the entire university community to participate actively by refraining from using private cars and instead choosing public transport, bicycles, scooters, or walking.

Let us work together to contribute to the ecological cleanliness and safety of Abai University and our city!
