Discussion of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev`s Address to the people of Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan in a new reality: time for action"


On September 2, 2020, an online round table was held to discuss the Address of the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Kazakhstan in a new reality: time for action".


The work of the round table was opened by First Vice-Rector Maktagali Bektemesov and noted the importance of the Address.


Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation Aktolkin Kulsariyeva made a report on "National plan of preparation for new reality", outlining the main aspects of the Address. In her speech, Professor A. Kulsarieva disclosed the full content of the strategic document.


Professor Adil Zhunusov, Director of the Institute of History and Law, Professor Ainur Sabitova, Director of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, Professor Zhomart Simtikov, Head of the Department of Political Science and Social and Philosophical Disciplines, Professor Yermek Boribayev, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence made a substantive report on the main directions outlined in the Message.


Each speaker focused on the priorities of the Address. In particular, it was noted that the people of Kazakhstan were looking forward to the Address of the President of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev, as a strategic document is of particular importance for the further development of our society.


On contempt, the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Asan Satmyrzaev noted that the next Message of the President is the most important reference point for the search for new opportunities for socio-economic, cultural, spiritual and political development of the country during the pandemic.
