Intellectual quiz game «Think and translate!»

On December 15, 2021, at the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of Abai KazNPU, second-year undergraduates of the specialty «Translation» under the guidance of Professor A.K. Zhumabekova organized and conducted an intellectual quiz game «Think and translate!».

The first-year undergraduate students of the specialty 6В02302 - «Translation Studies» took an active part in the event. The quiz was held online, using modern teaching methods.
The purpose of this event was to increase the interest of students in translation activities, to arouse their interest in learning of Translation Studies, as well as to increase motivation to become a professional translator.

The event was attended by the head of the Department K.H. Abdrakhmanova, teachers of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation: N.S. Nam, Sh. Baratova, R.K. Orazova, K.K. Ibragimova and others.

The event was held in the form of a team game. The final stage of the event was the summing up and awarding the winners with certificates.
