On 14 November, 2016 Chair of philological sciences for foreign pre-university training and preparatory faculty organized round table on the topic " Russian language united us". The round table was attended by guests: Head of the CIS Department of Russian Coopperation Sergey Malenko and consul of the General Consulate of the Russian Federation in Almaty City Irina Pereverzeva.
At the round table were foreign students from Lithuania, Vietnam, South Korea, China and the students of 1-3 courses of preparatory groups. Students spoke about the role of the Russian language in the world, presented performance of Russian folk tale, read poems of Russian poets, also was shown traditions of Kazakh and Russian peoples hospitality.
Guests greeted the participants of the round table, noting the particular importance of language learning, not only for the modern man, but in the development of scientific, cultural and economic relations between different countries. S.V. Malenko and I.V. Pereverzeva presented to the Chair and the students educational and artistic literature in Russian language.
Also I.V. Pereverzeva congratulated the freshmen and handed them student cards.
In conclusion, was organized free discussion, in which students and trainees to ask questions to representatives of the Russian Consulate.
