Welcome to Kazakhstan

On 10 November, 2017, at the faculty of pre-university education of al-Farabi KazNU took place meeting with the Consulate General of the PRC and students training in universities in Almaty. The meeting was organized specifically for the arrival of new Chinese students and listeners who came to study at universities in Almaty.

The honorary guests of the evening were the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of al-Farabi KazNU Paltore Ikhtiyar, Head of the Confucius Institute of the KazNU R.U. Asilbekov, Deputy Consul General of PRC Guo Xinqiao, Consul for Culture and Education Wang Qingping, Consul for Security Affairs Lu Yonggang, Vice Consul Huang Jian, Head of International Cooperation A.Iskakova, the dean of the faculty for foreign citizens and pre-university training G.Z.Taubayeva, teachers and students of universities in Almaty. The guests congratulated the students with the beginning of a new stage in their life, studying abroad, and wished them success in their studies, strength and patience in studying and mastering one of the most difficult foreign language - the Russian language.

Within the framework of the meeting was a concert  organized by Chinese students studying in Almaty universities.
