The department is a structural subdivision of the Financial and Economic Department.

The main tasks of the Department for Accounting for Material Values and Banking Operations are:

- the formation of complete and reliable information about the activities of the university and its financial situation;

- providing information about the economic activities of the university;

- providing information, necessary for state bodies to monitor compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan at realization by the subject of economic activity;

- accounting, including the system of collection, registration and circulation of information on the assets, equity, liabilities, income and expenses of the university in accordance with accounting standards, accounting policies of the university and other regulatory legal acts;

- proper registration of accounting records and documents, including primary documents, books, magazines, records prepared both manually and using the software system "1C: Accounting", as well as other materials containing information about the economic activities of the University and their storage, archiving ;

- determination of accounting information accounting methods, as well as accounting information processing technology, organization and management of financial resources, compilation and provision of comparable and reliable financial reporting.

Main functions of the department:

- reception and control of primary documentation on the relevant areas of accounting and preparation for the counting process;

- maintenance of accounting and reporting, liabilities and business transactions;

- Accounting for settlements with suppliers and contractors, work with contracts, acts of reconciliation;

- accounting and control over the availability and movement of property, the use of material, labor, financial resources in accordance with approved norms, standards and estimates, as well as ensuring timely settlements with debtors and creditors;

- Accounting of CMR and fixed assets, turnover and cash assets of the university, execution of the cost estimate. Control over the timely conduct of inventory of cash, inventory, fixed assets;

- implementation and control of the correct accrual and timely transfer of payments to the budget, timely compilation and delivery of tax and statistical reporting;

- ensuring documentary reflection in the accounts of accounting transactions related to the movement of cash;

- representation of university interests in relevant bodies when considering issues related to accounting, reporting and financial control;

- analytical and synthetic accounting of the financial and economic activities of the university.
