Foreign Language Testing for Master`s and Doctoral Entrants

Due to the coronovirus pandemic, the MOES has authorized the acceptance of Duolingo and IELTS INDICATOR online tests for admission to Master`s and doctoral studies.

In the process of passing the Duolingo English Test and IETLS Indicator, modern scoring systems are used. Testing will be conducted exclusively in electronic format through information systems that exclude the possibility of cheating during the exam.

For admission to the magistracy it is possible to submit international certificates or take a foreign language test in the course of complex testing (CT). The threshold point for Duolingo English Test must be at least 95, for IELTS INDICATOR - at least 6.0.

In order to enter the doctorate it is necessary to have a certificate confirming the knowledge of a foreign language. The threshold point for Duolingo English Test must be at least 85, for IELTS INDICATOR - at least 5.5.

Duolingo English Test certificate validity period is 1 year, IELTS INDICATOR - 2 years.
