KazNPU Students and Faculty Members Visited Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lakes

As part of an educational and ecological initiative, the faculty members of the Department of Chinese Language and Sinology of the Faculty of Philology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University - Arai Reava, Meyrkhan Symbat, and Elemes Ayazhan - along with active students, organized a memorable trip to two of Kazakhstan`s natural landmarks: Charyn Canyon and Kolsai Lakes.

The main goals of the trip were to foster students` love for their native land, promote ecological awareness, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen team spirit among the group.

During the trip, the participants had the opportunity to explore the unique geological formations of Charyn Canyon and enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the Kolsai Lakes, surrounded by mountain forests. In addition to sightseeing, meaningful discussions about environmental protection and sustainable tourism took place in a relaxed, natural setting.

The trip left a lasting impression on the participants, providing them with inspiration and energy for the new academic period. Such events play an important role in the personal development of students and in nurturing their civic responsibility and patriotic values.
