Name of the vacant position:

Senior Expert of the Development Strategy Support Unit of the Strategy Department

The main functional responsibilities of the structural unit:

-Organize and ensure the strategic planning process (holding strategic planning sessions, events for developing strategic goals, working out the ways to achieve the strategic goals);

 - Elaboration of University Development Strategy;

-Providing consulting services to the structural units of the University Development Strategy;

 -Monitoring of the Strategy realisation plan;

 -Organisation and coordination of the University participation in world rankings (institutional, subject, employability parameters, etc.);

Main job responsibilities:

- Participate in the organisation of the monitoring of the Development Strategy Implementation Plan;

 - Participation in the organisation and implementation of strategic sessions, strategic goal-setting activities, elaboration of the ways to achieve the strategic goals

 - Participation in the preparation of the presentation of the Strategy;

 - Participation in ensuring that the structural units are informed about the adopted Strategy;

 - Participation in the development and analysis of the Development Strategy Implementation Plan;

 - Participation in the collection of data to input information into the databases of international rankings (QS, THE, Greenmetric WUR, etc.);

 - Interaction with other specialists and heads of structural units of the university, as well as institutions, organizations and communities.

Going on business trips:

If necessary

Education:

Higher education. An academic degree will be appreciated  

Required professional experience (duration, field, other)

At least one (1) year in education, in academical organizations

Professional Competencies:

 - Ability to work with documentation.

 - Ability to process and analyse textual and statistical information, draw conclusions;

 - The skill of teamwork;

 - The skill of translation of documents (from Russian to Kazakh, etc.);

 - Ability to present thoughts clearly and correctly.

Personal competences and qualities:

 Communicability, conscientiousness, active life position, stress resistance, creativity, presence of organizational abilities, punctuality, easily trainable, neatness.

Knowledge of languages, including the national language (list of languages the candidate must be proficient in)

Kazakh - fluently

Russian - fluently

English - will be an advantage

Computer skills:

Good knowledge of MS Office package, Google Drive/Docs/Meet, ZOOM
