Name of vacant position:

Specialist of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness

Main functional responsibilities of the structural unit:

Improvement of the quality of educational services on the basis of continuous monitoring, analysis and evaluation of efficiency, accreditation, national ratings, evaluation of the quality of educational services and the efficiency of individual departments and services through sociological surveys and continuous monitoring.

Main responsibilities:

- participates in organizational, methodological and informational support of preparation and carrying out procedures of international, institutional and national accreditation of individual educational programs and HEI as an educational institution;

- coordinates the work of departments on preparation of reports on post-accreditation monitoring within the framework of institutional accreditation and specialized accreditation of educational programs;

- participates in the development of information and methodological materials on the activities of the office;

- processes the results of institutional research;

- is responsible for the preparation and publication of official statistics of the university through statistical surveys, data collection - digests, infographics and dashboards;

- participates in the organization of questionnaires of students, graduates, faculty, staff, employers on the issues of satisfaction with studies and work at the university;

- participates in completing the page of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness on the official website of the university;

- observes confidentiality, does not disclose information and data related to commercial and other secrets.

higher (or postgraduate) education

Required professional experience (duration, field, other)

Experience in higher education, preferably in the field of educational program development, educational quality assurance and accreditation of 3 years or more.

Professional competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of quality assessment and improvement of educational programs;

- Skills in data analysis and reporting to support quality management processes;

- Knowledge of higher education and accreditation legislation and regulations;

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;

- Ability to analyze data and identify trends in the quality of educational programs;

- Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve educational quality;

- Ability to implement quality and accreditation policies and procedures.

Personal competences and qualities:

- Responsibility, accuracy and attentiveness;

- Systemic thinking and problem solving ability;

- Willingness to learn and own professional development;

- Ethics and confidentiality of information.

Knowledge of languages, including the state language (list of languages the candidate should be proficient in)

Kazakh - fluently;

Russian - fluently.


Computer Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook), Excel, Google Drive/Docs/Meet, ZOOM, PowerPoint, e-mail, electronic document management.
