An open lecture by a Moscow professor

On May 23, 2025, KazNPU named after Vadim Grinshkun, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Informatization of Education at the Institute of Digital Education of Moscow State Pedagogical University, visited Abai.

During the visit, Professor Grinshkun held a guest lecture for undergraduates and doctoral students of the educational programs 7M06102 - "Information Systems", 8D06102 - "Information Systems" and 8D01507 - "Informatics" on the topic "Artificial intelligence in education: opportunities and challenges".

Two key areas were revealed during the lecture:
Features of the development and use of information systems in education - examples of the design and implementation of IP, their role in automating learning processes, monitoring and management of educational activities were presented.

Artificial intelligence in education - the prospects of using AI in personalizing learning, content generation, and data analysis are considered. Special attention was paid to the challenges of digital ethics, teacher responsibility, and personal data protection issues.

The lecture aroused great interest among the audience, during the discussion modern challenges of digital pedagogy, as well as areas of scientific cooperation were discussed.

The visit became a part of the strengthening of international scientific and educational cooperation between the Moscow State Pedagogical University and KazNPU.
