The faculty of Abay University took part in the international conference held in Bulgaria

The faculty of Abay University took part in the Third National Scientific and Practical Conference "DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF EDUCATION - ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS" held at Angel Kanchev University in Ruse, Bulgaria, from April 24 to 25, 2025, and within the framework of the grant funding project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2024-2026, Professor A.E. Sagimbayeva shared the results of the ongoing research work on the topic AP23490592 "Study of the influence of generative artificial intelligence technology on the methodology for monitoring programming knowledge at a university".

Professor A.E. Sagimbayeva, Professor Zh.K. Nurbekova, Senior Lecturer Zhaksylykov A.E. and teacher N.E. Artykbayev gave a presentation at the conference on the topic "Programming knowledge monitoring in the GenAI era: research, challenges, and methodology." The presentation said that GenAI will speed up programming knowledge monitoring, automate tasks, and increase learning efficiency through feedback. At the same time, it was said that GenAI risks reducing students` algorithmic thinking.

The authors` presentations on the topic "Programming knowledge monitoring in the GenAI era: research, challenges, and methodology" were recognized as some of the best and were awarded a certificate of honor and a crystal award.

Professor Zh. Nurbekova was awarded a certificate of honor and a crystal award for her presentation on the topic "Some impressions and trends from bett ExCeL London 2025."

In addition, the research professor of the Abay University Zh. Nurbekova in the program committee of the third republican scientific and practical conference "Digital transformation of education - issues and solutions" is a clear indication of her deep knowledge and extensive experience in the field of digitalization of education.
