A BRIEF AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Shayakhmetova Dana Beksultanovna graduated from A.Baitursynov Kostanay State University in 1996 with a degree in Foreign Languages.

From 1999 to 2003, she pursued her Postgraduate studies at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages.

In 2006, she defended her PhD thesis in the specialty: 13.00.02 - Theory and methodology of teaching and upbringing (Romano-Germanic, Turkic languages in the system of primary, secondary and higher education). The topic of the PhD thesis is "Teaching written business communication to students of economic specialties". Scientific supervisors: Ph.D., Professor P.G. Kozlov, Ph.D., academician S.S. Kunanbayeva.

In March 2007, she was awarded a Diploma of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, issued by the Committee for Supervision and Certification in the field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 03/28/2007 (Protocol No. 3).

In December 2018, he was granted the title of Associate Professor issued by the Committee for Supervision and Certification in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Protocol No. 1946 dated December 11, 2018.

From 2018 to 2023 - Academic Secretary and permanent member of the Dissertation Council at Ablai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages specialty 8D017 - Teacher training in languages and literature.

Since April 2023, she has been invited to the position of an expert of the Expert Council on Education, Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of the Committee for Supervision and Certification in the field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Shayakhmetova Dana Beksultanovna is the author of more than 70 scientific papers, of which 3 monographs, 3 textbooks, 7 articles included in the International database Scopus. Her Hirsch Index as a scientist is - 3.

SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES

Dana Beksultanovna Shayakhmetova actively participates in scientific activities and has played a significant role as a mentor. Under her guidance, 120 master`s students and 2 PhD doctors in the specialty of "Foreign language: two foreign languages" have successfully defended their theses.

MEMBERSHIP AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN ORGANIZATIONS

In addition to her contributions to scientific research, Dana Beksultanovna Shayakhmetova is an active public figure in the field of foreign language education. She has been elected multiple times as the chairman and member of the Republican Olympiads in English, as well as scientific projects for students from language Universities and schoolchildren in Almaty.

Furthermore, Shayakhmetova Dana Beksultanovna has taken on the role of author and developer of the entrance exam in English for master`s and doctoral studies in the specialties of "Pedagogy" and "Foreign language: two foreign languages". Her involvement in shaping educational assessments demonstrates her commitment to advancing language education at both the graduate and doctoral levels.
