Seminar Okayama University Professor Hiroki Fujii

On October 3, 2024, Professor Hiroki Fuji from Okayama University gave a public lecture to master`s and doctoral students in the Department of Chemistry at Abay KazNPU. The lecture was titled "Plastics and Modern Society." During the lecture, Professor Fuji presented the lesson plan and educational materials on the subject of plastics. He analyzed the impact of plastics on society and clearly explained their environmental harm with concrete examples. He focused on the "Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" method for reducing waste and promoting sustainable use of materials. Additionally, he shared the three main methods of recycling plastics and introduced a new way to produce them. At the end of the lecture, participants engaged in a Q&A session and open discussion with the professor.
